Apache

The tribe Apache went to the territory of the South and West of America from Alaska. Then they migrated to the Rio Grande where they divided into two parts using the river as the natural border.
Apache was the warlike nomad tribe that didn't occupy one exact territory. And the main way of getting food was the buffalo hunting as this animal gave everything necessary for the tribe. This animal was also considered to be the totem of the tribe.
As this tribe was nomad, it was one of the first that appreciated quickly the benefits of horses. And this tribe besides using these horses also taught other people to ride them. But the minuses of the nomad way of life became especially of importance when the tribe started to move to the South. And the intrusion into the territory of Comanche took the lives of the major part of the tribe and made the tribe move to Texas and Mexico.
The warlike temper of this tribe was not favourable during the colonization of Europeans as Spanish people killed a lot of them during the war. But Spanish also suffered a lot from this tribe. And the war stopped only in 1743 when the leader of Spanish settlements agreed to sign the act of the Texas lands transmission to Apache.
With the lapse of time this tribe established good contacts with Europeans. But the destiny of other tribes didn't let them alone and only 35 representatives of this tribe were left. In 1970 according to statistics there were 1500 members of this tribe in New-Mexico.
